8. Clock Tower - Sighisoara
Sighisoara is considered to be the most beautiful and well preserved inhabited citadel in Europe, with an authentic medieval architecture. In Eastern Europe, Sighisoara is one of the few fortified towns which are still inhabited. Each year, a Medieval Festival takes place in the old citadel in July.
The landmark of the city is the Clock Tower, a 64m high tower built in 1556. It is today a museum of history.

10. Peasant Museum - Bucharest
The Museum of the Romanian Peasant is a museum in Bucharest, with a collection of textiles (especially costumes), icons, ceramics, and other artifacts of Romanian peasant life. One of Europe's leading museums of popular arts and traditions, it was designated "European Museum of the Year" for 1996.
First founded in the 1930's by and originally managed by Alexandru Tzigara-Samurcas, the museum was reopened February 5, 1990, a mere six weeks after the downfall and execution of Nicolae Ceausescu.
During the Communist era, the building housed a museum representing the country's Communist party.
